This section is dedicated to my main hobby, her Majesty Music. She accompanies me everywhere since the beginning of my earthly career.
As a child I’ve heard for the first time Queen, which became my favorite band.
I tried to participate in various school activities, sang in the choir, learned to play guitar and keyboard almost by myself. Though now I don’t really like to play for someone else, better quietly for myself.
When I was 16 I got in a rock-band named “Megalomania” created by my school friends. First our guide was the Finnish metal-band “Nightwish”, then we have accumulated enough of our own material and visited with concerts a couple of Russian cities like Sankt-Petersburg, Moscow, Penza, Nizhny Novgorod and of course our home city Saransk. We’ve defined our genre as melodic speed power metal. (isn’t it cool?..)
After 2,5 years of co-creativity in the summer of 2007, we released our first album “Far away, to the dream…”. Just after the record I went to Germany and my guys found a new vocalist and continued moving towards their dreams. In the summer of 2008 when I came to Russia we played our last concert together.
My musical activity in Germany is limited by occasional rock-karaoke and a weekly singing in the Bremen university choir. In the spring of 2010 we even sang for the orchestra show Star Wars in Hamburg.
I’d like to find a band once again, but in fact it’s not that easy.
